槟州首席部长曹观友指出，位于康华丽堡（Fort Cornwallis）南城墙及西城墙护城河修复工程重建工程，以及康华丽堡小贩中心（Astaka Kota Selera）重建工程即将完工，这两项备受期待的项目标志着槟州历史与文化地段迈入新阶段。 “康华丽堡南侧护城壕沟已于2024年7月完工，西侧壕沟仍在施工，预料将于今年7月7日全面竣工。” 他是今日前往康华丽堡（Fort Cornwallis）南城墙及西城墙护城河修复工程重建工程进度后说。 他说，康华丽堡工程是乔治市世界文化遗产区特别地区计划（Special Area Plan, SAP）的重要组成部分，旨在恢复历史遗迹原貌，并提升城市公共空间。 “整个项目总投资约2340万令吉，其中1530万令吉由槟州政府拨款资助，并获得Think City与Hasanah基金会（Yayasan Hasanah）的额外支持。” 曹观友表示，康华丽堡的壕沟原本是古时的防御设施，环绕整个堡垒。然而，随着时代演变，该壕沟曾因早年爆发疟疾而被当局填平。为配合乔
