Researchers bring light to the history of medieval gates

A team led by the archaeologist and material scientist Marianne Mödlinger from the Institute of Realism of the Middle Ages and the early modern era of the University of Salzburg has examined three bronze gates from the 12th century at Italian cathedrals in unprecedented accuracy.
