Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) bill to pay active-duty military members and federal employees required to work during the shutdown, Politico reports. Meanwhile, the Washington Examiner reports Sen. John Thune (R-SD) is also readying possible votes next week on paying air traffic controllers and the military.
