A decision he took by surprise. Lucas de Meo announced his resignation as CEO of Renault, after five years in charge of Renault Group. And not only of the company, but of the automotive industry, as the communiqué issued, will pursue “new challenges outside the automotive sector.” The 58-year-old Italian director will leave his position in Renault within a month, on July 15, 2025. Apparently, he has granted this grace period to the French group …
