- The partners said the venture will democratize AI technology for Indian organisations, aiming to make generative AI accessible, secure, and scalable across sectors like finance, information technology, customer service, sales, and marketing, focusing on small and medium businesses.
- The companies said the JV will build enterprise platforms powered by Meta's Llama models and leverage Jio's network plus Jamnagar Cloud Region and gigawatt-scale AI data centres with flexible deployment.
- Under the agreement, the JV is funded with Rs 855 crore , capitalised 70% by Reliance and 30% by Meta, and aims to lower cost barriers for small and medium businesses .
- Mukesh Ambani also unveiled Reliance Intelligence, a wholly owned AI unit aiming to embed AI across businesses with four missions and to position India as a leader, backed by Google partnerships.
