According to CH Media, the Swiss Air-Rescue (Rega) plans to relocate its headquarters to the canton of Obwalden. Around 200 employees would see their workplaces move from Zurich to Kägiswil, according to Rega chief Ernst Kohler.


The Rega could soon move to Obwalden. It has to leave the location at Zurich Airport at the latest by the end of 2030 and is looking for an alternative. The Rega CEO explains in Kägiswil why this location is perfect.
According to CH Media, the Swiss Rescue Flight Guard (Rega) wants to move its headquarters to the canton of Obwalden. If this happens, some 200 employees would have to move their workplace from Zurich to Kägiswil, as Rega CEO Ernst Kohler said.
