The time has come on Saturday. Then the Pride Parade takes cars full of splendour through Antwerp's city center, from St. John's Square to Cockerill Quay. In the lead, Redgy Desmit (49) and his husband show the way, together with Queers on Wheels, a group of LGBTQ+ wheelchair users. “Everyone must be able to attend the Pride, including people in wheelchairs,” says Redgy.
