The Altoona Redevelopment Authority has bought nearly 18 acres of land in the Cricket Knoll neighborhood located off Juniata Gap Road. Reportedly, the purchase was made to install infrastructure to attract a developer to build 40-plus homes in that area. The authority bought the tract from S&A Homes in State College for $150,000.
