- That margin matters because Smith won 66.5 per cent of the ballot in 2023, citing local projects and town halls to defend her position, raising the bar for removal.
- In recent weeks, the government discussed potential Recall Act changes but none are planned, and Mackenzie Blyth said recalls target misconduct, while Jim Groom noted `Whether they're successful or not, it's still it brings some advertising and a little bit of notoriety.
