As I go to my YMCA gym class, I am treated to the sounds and busyness of toddlers. Some are climbing, others run in the freedom of space, others throw or dig, and others cuddle with caregivers. To me, they are the embodiment of our future. Will our children be bombarded with pandemics and diseases, or will there be a government to fund vaccines, cures, and supportive care when they need care?
