Readers respond: HOV lane needs enforcement

My wife and I recently had to travel from Tigard to Vancouver for four evenings during rush-hour traffic. Each time, we were in the High Occupancy Vehicle lane on Interstate 5 North and had vehicles in front and back of us with only the driver in the vehicle. My guess is that far less than 50% of the drivers had the required second person in the car. Traffic in this lane was no faster than the other lanes.
