Rare flowers sway in the wind: Amakusa Mitsuba Azalea in full bloom, Kamiamakusa City

At Shiratake (373 meters) in Himeto-cho, Kami Amakusa City, the Amakusa Mitsuba Azalea, a species designated as endangered by the Ministry of the Environment and Kumamoto Prefecture, is in full bloom, with its small pale pink flowers swaying in the breeze. It looks like it will be enjoyable all month long. At the end of the lush, thin branches, there is a single flower, about 3 to 4 centimeters in diameter.
