PULASKI, Va. -- The Pulaski River Turtles scored three runs in the third inning and made them stand up in a 3-2 victory over the Tri-State Coal Cats Wednesday in Appalachian League baseball at Calfee Park. Tri-State (4-7) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a home run by Bishop Quarles (Bryant & Stratton Junior College).
