A private jet Learjet 55, registration YV3440, crashed on Wednesday 24 September at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetia, the main airport in Venezuela. The accident occurred during the take-off maneuver when one of its wheels exploded, forcing the pilots to abort the operation and ending in a collision at the end of the runway. The emergency teams acted immediately, managing to rescue two people alive, who are reported to be stable.…
