Prince William, patron of We Are Farming Minds since March 2025, highlighted mental health support as calls to the charity's helpline have doubled in the past year.
- On Thursday, Prince William, Prince of Wales, arrived at Bridge End Farm, Much Cowarne, near Bromyard, to meet John Bowler, Laura Bowler, and Sam Stables and promote We Are Farming Minds.
- As patron since March 2025, Prince William, Prince of Wales, supports We Are Farming Minds, which offers fully funded counselling and a 24/7 helpline as calls have doubled, the charity said.
- After warming up in the barn with a mug of hot local cider, Prince William, Prince of Wales, pruned apple trees, fed sheep, and joined daily tasks including building fencing at Bridge End Farm.
- Mrs Bowler said `It's been a bit of a whirlwind. It really gave us a boost at the time of year where really we are at our lowest`, helping small farms in Herefordshire feel seen and worthwhile.
- Beyond the day, William's 2023 Herefordshire engagement shows ongoing support, with the Duchy of Cornwall overseeing more than 52,200 hectares across 20 counties including the Guy's Estate of more than 4,600 hectares.
