Saudi Arabian officials have virtually descended upon Istanbul. Industry sources report that Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian oil giant, may acquire a 49% stake in GüzelEnerji, which is part of the OYAK group.
Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil exporter, has made a visit to Istanbul to discuss its planned investment in the fuel distribution sector in Turkey. Aramco, which is reported to have met with GüzelEnerji, a subsidiary of OYAK, is said to be interested in TotalEnergies, M Oil, and Türk Petrol, all of which operate under the GüzelEnerji umbrella.
