Priests were detained for months for anti-state activities, the court cleared them after 75 years
After 75 years, the Regional Court in Pilsen rehabilitated nine clergymen who were imprisoned for almost two months in 1949. Among other things, for not pledging allegiance to socialism. Not one of the clergymen lived to see their cleansing. Eight of them were born in the last quarter of the 19th century, mostly in West Bohemian villages. The youngest, Bedřich Bohdal, was born in 1912.
