"Over 80 years after the end of World War II, the German reparations debt to Poland has not been repaid," said President Karol Nawrocki. He added that liability is not subject to a statute of limitations. "I extend my hand of cooperation, hoping for a reciprocal approach," he declared.
During his New Year's meeting with the Diplomatic Corps, President Karol Nawrocki raised the issue of reparations from Germany. "Beyond legal responsibility, there is also moral, political, and financial responsibility," he noted.
