- The Kirti Chakra, India's second-highest peacetime gallantry award, honors conspicuous bravery and self-sacrifice away from the battlefield, with Air Commodore Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair, an Indian Air Force pilot and Gaganyatri, among recipients.
- Major Leishangthem Deepak Singh of 11 Para received the Shaurya Chakra for exceptional bravery: "Acting on intelligence regarding the kidnapping of two innocent civilians, he neutralised a terrorist at very close range."
- Commander Roopa A. and Lieutenant Commander Dilna received Shaurya Chakras for Navika Sagar Parikrama II, sailing over 25,600 nautical miles through Indian, Pacific, Atlantic and Southern Oceans to reach the oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the ceremony and posted on X: "We are proud of their extraordinary courage, commitment and selfless service to the nation," recognizing recipients' heroism in counter-terrorism and rescue operations.
