The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, highlighted that in Guerrero the daily average of victims of intentional homicides per month was reduced by 65 percent, from October 2024 to December 2025, going from 6.58 to 2.32 victims, while in Acapulco this crime showed a reduction of 71 percent going from 2.32 to 0.68, that is, less than one homicide per day.

High-impact crimes decreased by 18% compared to 2024 in Guerrero, with 2025 being the lowest year in the last eight years, and in Acapulco the reduction was 28 percent.
