The European Parliament approved on Tuesday a €14.3 million (5 billion forint) aid package for Romania to help mitigate the damage caused by last year's floods and address the consequences of the Praid mining disaster. The aid aims to restore flood-hit infrastructure and provide essential services in the central, southern and northeastern regions of the country.
