Power Outage Extends to Indian Wells

A power outage that affected more than 9,000 Southern California Edison customers Thursday in Indian Wells was later restored. According to the SCE website, the outage was reported near Camino Dorado south of Highway 111 shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday involving 9,717 customers. Jeff Monford, a spokesperson from Edison, told City News Service that power was back online at 11:50 a.m., and the cause of the shortage was under investigation.
