Pottinger Energy Park ticks planning approval in NSW
New South Wales’ Independent Planning Commission (IPC) has approved the development of Pottinger Energy Park in NSW’s South West Renewable Energy Zone (SW REZ). To be jointly developed by Someva Renewables and AGL Energy, the IPC’s approval means Pottinger Energy Park could generate up to 1,300MW of renewable energy from 247 wind turbines—all supported by a 500MW/2000MWh battery.
