STA: Abandoned animals are twice as many as official data shows

On World Abandoned Animal Day, which we mark today, the Association of Non-Governmental Organizations for Animal Protection of Slovenia warns that according to their lay estimate, there are once again more than 12,000 of these, as shown by official data, they wrote in a press release. In this regard, they call for responsible care and adoption of animals from shelters.
