Portland Ladds 500: Hundreds gather to ride bikes in circles for hours

Hundreds of Portland cyclists and cycling fans packed Southeast Portland’s Ladd Circle Park Saturday morning and rode around in a circle over and over for hours and hours. The bizarre event, called Ladds 500 and organized by David Barstow Robinson, had a rallying cry of “Let’s do something stupid!”
