Port of Rotterdam freight transhipment down
The transhipment of goods in the port of Rotterdam decreased in the first quarter of this year compared to the previous year. According to the Port of Rotterdam Authority, the total transhipment decreased by almost 6 percent to 103.7 million tonnes due to less transhipment of iron ore, coal, crude oil and oil products. According to the port, the American import duties on European goods have not yet had an effect on the transhipment.
