Pop Mart expands Labubu line with mini vinyl plush pendants and a first-ever long-fur doll using a unique dye technique, boosting plush toy revenue by over 1,200%.
- On Aug. 29, Pop Mart will release new Labubu products on its website with in-store pickup or shipping and through its app and official TikTok accounts.
- Earlier this week Pop Mart reported first six months profit soaring nearly 400% and revenue jumping over 200% to 13.88 billion yuan .
- The new long-fur Labubu features a pearl-and-alloy heart necklace and a specialized dyeing technique, while the mini-sized Labubu vinyl pendant in The Monsters Pin For Love series costs $18.99 and full dolls $114.99.
- Labubu's popularity has made Pop Mart expand the Monsters line with the Rock the Universe vinyl plush in The Monsters Big Into Energy Series.
- Kasing Lung, artist and illustrator, created Labubu in 2015 and signed a 2019 deal with Pop Mart, with Asia Pacific revenue rising over 250% and Americas soaring more than 1,000%.
