Zagreb Gets Europe's First Driverless Robotaxi Rides With Passengers Aboard
Pony.ai and Verne have begun fully driverless robotaxi test rides with passengers on public roads in Zagreb, Croatia, removing the human safety operator from the vehicle for the first time in a European robotaxi program.
Verne's robotaxi service has been operating in Zagreb since April this year, and the company states that its vehicles have so far traveled more than 200,000 autonomous kilometers in several thousand rides with users.
