In recent weeks, Ponte de Lima has completed the installation of a network of 12 meteorological stations located in parish councils, educational centers, and ecomuseums. According to the promoters, MeteoFreixo, of the Freixo School Group, the stations are "representative of the municipality's distinct microclimates." The RIMEM-PL (Municipal Integrated Network of Meteorological Stations) project was born out of the 2024 Participatory Budget.
