Ryszard J. (73), known as "The Professor", was sentenced to 20 years in prison for wholesale drug production. The brilliant chemist and former lecturer from Kielce was hailed by the media as the Polish Walter White in reference to the main character of the series "Breaking Bad". As the judge emphasized in the justification of the sentence, he could have used his talent for the good of Polish science, but instead he chose criminal activity.
