Three young Polish tourists became lost during a mountain hike in the Italian town of Livigno in Lombardy. After reaching the summit at an altitude of approximately 3,000 meters above sea level, they missed the final descent by ski lift. Thanks to a swift rescue operation, the Poles were evacuated and provided first aid.
