The municipal council of Alphen aan den Rijn has definitively put a stop to the arrival of a large residential complex for migrant workers in Boskoop. The plan to house 512 migrant workers on the old auction site on the Middelburgseweg has been taken off the table. Local residents are relieved, but growers and entrepreneurs are disappointed.
