WARREN – A former Howland woman, convicted at the end of a 1988 sensational trial of murdering her husband, was denied parole for a fifth time by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority. According to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction website, Marie Poling, 64, will be next eligible for parole in August 2025. Parole board members earlier this year had interviewed Poling outside her cell at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville. …
