In Bashkortostan, an activist and blogger, Ural Baibulatov, have filed a criminal case for the dissemination of deliberately false information about circumstances that threaten the life and security of citizens (art. 207.1 of the Criminal Code) with Idel.Realia, referring to his acquaintance. Baybulatov and other activists opposed the development of a copper mine on the Kryktytau Ridge in the Abzelylov district.
