The Lithuanian police and prosecutor's office are not conducting pre-trial investigations into episodes of the US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein case that mention Lithuania and Lithuanian names. "There are no pre-trial investigations that have been initiated. If a statement were received, then a decision would be made (whether or not to initiate an investigation - ELTA)," Police Department spokesman Ramūnas Matonis told Elta on Monday.
