Police: Man shot on Evergreen St. in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was shot on Evergreen Street in Norfolk Friday, police said. Norfolk Police were sent to the 8300 block of Evergreen Street around 8:40 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from what they said was a non life-threatening gunshot wound, police said, and he was taken to the hospital.
