Police: Man shot in Rockford Saturday morning

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man Saturday morning. Around 6:30 a.m., authorities reported that a 44-year-old man was shot in the 2900 block of Cameron Avenue. Rockford Police tape The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital to be treated. Officials asked the public to avoid the area while they investigate.
