Police charge man in July 3rd shooting at Harrisburg homeless encampment

A search warrant was executed Friday on a tent in the homeless encampment on South Front Street, near the Interstate 83 bridge, followed by the arrest of a man in connection with a July 3 shooting.Harrisburg police said that on July 3, they responded to a report of shots fired in the encampment that’s become known as Tent City. Responding officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and lower extremities.
