Police: 3 people in country illegally captured in Southgate after fleeing in Wyandotte

An expired license plate that grabbed the attention of Wyandotte police resulted in three people police say were in the country illegally being captured in Southgate, with one person getting away. A patrol vehicle occupied by two officers observed their vehicle in the area of Fort Street and Eureka Road, at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 11, noticing that the plate was expired.
