Pokemon Outdoor Theme Park Area to Open in Tokyo Suburbs on February 5
PokéPark KANTO spans 2.6 hectares with over 600 Pokémon, featuring two main areas and a ticket lottery starting Nov. 21 for visits through Mar. 31, 2026.
- Yomiuri Land Co. said PokéPark KANTO will open on Feb. 5, 2026 inside Yomiuriland, spanning 2.6 hectares in Inagi City and Kawasaki.
- The facility will consist of two themed areas, Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town; Pokémon Forest uses Tama Hills' terrain with tunnels and meadows, while Sedge Town offers two attractions and a Pokémon Center.
- From 6 p.m. on Nov. 21, applications open on the official PokéPark KANTO website for two ticket types, closing Dec. 8, for visits between Feb. 5 and March 31, 2026.
- Visitors will be able to meet more than 600 Pokémon while strolling through Pokémon Forest, which features a 500-meter trail and requires visitors to be at least 5 years old and able to climb 110 steps.
- Holders of either pass will be able to take photos with a Pokémon cast that changes daily, while a Town Pass granting access only to Sedge Town will be released later.
