PMR: Rome Fiumicino introduces autonomous wheelchairs

The WHILL autonomous wheelchairs for passengers with reduced mobility (PMR) are launched at Rome Fiumicino Airport. It is one of the first autonomous mobility services launched at a European airport. The announcement was made at the "Inclusion and accessibility at the airport" event, an annual meeting with the associations representing disabled people, held on 25 March at the Innovation Centre of Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
