- On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple development projects worth around Rs 13,430 crore in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, saying development accelerated over the last sixteen months.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Andhra Pradesh is a land of self-respect and culture, linking its development to India's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
- Modi said that Google's AI hub in Visakhapatnam includes a 1 gigawatt data centre and a new international subsea gateway, establishing it as an AI and connectivity hub.
- Developed jointly by NICDIT and APIIC, the industrial hubs are expected to bring Rs 21,000 crore in investment and generate around one lakh jobs, while transmission upgrades at Kurnool-III Pooling Station increase capacity by 6,000 MVA.
- Modi inaugurated the Advanced Night Vision Factory in Nimmaluru to boost defence self-reliance and announced the Natural Gas Pipeline Project from Srikakulam to Angul serving approximately fifteen lakh households.
