- On October 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme from Bhildi in Gujarat, providing over Rs 18,680 crore to more than 9.34 crore farmer families nationwide.
- The PM-Kisan scheme provides eligible farmer families Rs 6,000 annually in three equal instalments; Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani noted that previous 23 instalments disbursed over Rs 4.47 lakh crore to more than 11 crore families.
- Modi will lay foundation stones for two Bio-CNG plants in Tharad and Radhanpur, expanding the Banas Model to six plants with a combined daily processing capacity of 515 tonnes of cattle dung.
- Events will occur at 34 district-level locations and more than 2,100 cluster-level centres across Gujarat, where beneficiaries must complete e-KYC verification and can use the "Know Your Status" facility to check payment details.
- Following the Banaskantha programmes, the Prime Minister will attend National Unity Day celebrations at Ekta Nagar in Narmada district on October 31, marking the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
