PL Gulch Fire grows to about 20 acres southwest of Meeker

Firefighters are responding to a new wildfire burning about 20 miles southwest of Meeker near County Road 76, according to the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office. The PL Gulch Fire was reported at about 12:30 p.m. Monday after the sheriff’s office received multiple 911 calls from the County Road 76 and County Road 5 area.
