Pingtung County's sustainable governance achievements have once again received international recognition. At the 2025 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards, Pingtung retained the "Livable City Award" for the second consecutive year. County Governor Zhou Chunmi, for his outstanding governance philosophy and implementation capabilities, was honored with the "Taiwan Outstanding Sustainability Governance Chief Award" for the first time.
