The French chemical group Arkema announces the closure of two fluorinated gas production lines at its site in Pierre-Bénite, south of Lyon. About 50 jobs are affected by this reduction in activity.
Arkema announced yesterday in CSE the closure of two fluorinated gas manufacturing plants in its historic Pierre-Bénite plant, located in the Lyon chemical valley. The group states that it has lost its only two customers and is focusing on fluorinated polymers with higher added value.
