Petersburg High School lockdown lifted after shots fired near campus

PETERSBURG, Va. Petersburg High School and Vernon Johns Middle School are no longer under lockdown after shots were fired near the high school.No one was hurt in the incident, according to Petersburg City Public Schools.Petersburg Chief of Police Travis Christian tells CBS 6 they believe a car pulled up to the school and fired several rounds into the air around when the high school students were leaving for the day.
