The Prime Minister said that no final decision has been made yet, and that the matter will be discussed at a parliamentary group meeting. But he said it is not guaranteed that András Baka's candidate would gain two-thirds or even half of the support.
"We do not see the Tisza faction's election of Zoltán Szathmáry, nominated by the president, as Attorney General as assured," Prime Minister Péter Magyar said at a press conference in Parliament on Monday.
This is the faction's preliminary decision, we still have to wait for the final one, but Magyar does not see a half-majority as assured either.
