Person Trespassing on Tokaido Shinkansen Line, Service Suspended on Both Lines (Kyodo News)

At around 7:30 pm on the 17th, a patrol officer found a person on the tracks between Gifu Hashima and Maibara on the Tokaido Shinkansen line. According to JR Central, service was suspended on both the inbound and outbound lines, resuming after about an hour and a half. The Sanyo Shinkansen was also temporarily suspended. The Tarui Police Station of Gifu Prefectural Police announced on the 17th that they had found a person on the tracks.
