IMPD: Critical shooting on the north side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS A person has been left in critical condition following a shooting on the north side of Indianapolis, police said.According to IMPD, officers responded to the 2900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street at around 1:01 a.m. Sunday.They found a victim suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.This remains an ongoing investigation.
